“ I was made redundant in 2019 from my main job of which I had to survive on my only other income which was a part time job. I decided to apply to become a taxi driver and found the HTA BTEC course very valuable after receiving the course work and studying at home, I only had to spend a few days in the classroom which sped up my application. Where I am now a fully licensed taxi driver and can work and earn when I choose ”

“ I recently became a taxi driver in Hull and I had to complete the BTEC course and Numeracy & Literacy courses. I found the teachers at the Wilberforce Centre very helpful as I am dyslexic so they spent extra time and allowed myself to pass in my own time and I wasn’t charged any re-test fees ”
